Planning your listing photography should feel straightforward. Below are answers to some of the most common questions about pricing, scheduling, preparation, services, and what to expect when working with Right Angles Photography.
Booking, Pricing, and Coverage
What is included in the basic MLS photography package?
The basic MLS photography package includes a minimum of 25 professionally edited images. Most properties receive at least 35 images, depending on the size, layout, and features of the home. I personally edit every photograph before delivery.
What areas do you serve?
Right Angles Photography is based in Fayette County and serves Fayette, Greene, and surrounding counties. I am also available to continue working with existing Greater Pittsburgh clients as scheduling permits.
Do you charge a travel fee?
The basic photography package includes travel within 20 driving miles of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Modest travel fees may apply beyond that area and will always be confirmed before booking.
How far in advance should I schedule?
Booking as early as possible provides the best selection of appointment times, but I understand that real estate does not always follow a predictable schedule. Same-day and last-minute appointments are welcome when availability permits.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
There is no cancellation fee. Appointments may also be rescheduled without a fee when I receive at least one hour of notice before the scheduled appointment time.
How long does a photography appointment take?
Appointment length depends on the size and condition of the property, the number of rooms being photographed, and any additional services requested. I can provide a general time estimate once I know more about the property.
What happens if the weather is poor?
Interior photography can often continue as planned. If weather conditions would prevent the exterior from being represented well or create a safety concern, we can discuss photographing the interiors and returning for the exterior or rescheduling the appointment.
Preparing for Photo Day
How should the home be prepared?
Whenever possible, clear visible surfaces, open curtains and blinds, replace burned-out lightbulbs, turn off ceiling fans, remove vehicles from the driveway, and secure pets before the appointment. The Listing Photography Preparation Guide in the Agent Resource Library provides a room-by-room checklist that agents can share with sellers.
Does the home need to be perfect?
Absolutely not. Homes are lived-in spaces, and every property represents a transition in someone’s life. I approach each appointment with patience, discretion, and respect. The goal is to focus on the details that will make the strongest visual difference, not to judge how someone lives.
What happens if the home is not completely ready?
We will calmly assess the situation and determine the most practical next step. We may make a few small adjustments, prioritize the rooms that are ready, photograph the property as it appears, or reschedule if that would produce a better result.
Do pets need to be secured?
Yes. Pets should be safely secured away from the rooms being photographed. This helps protect the pet, the people in the home, and the photography equipment while allowing the appointment to move efficiently from room to room.
Do you help with staging during the appointment?
I am happy to assist with light staging alongside the agent. This may include straightening pillows, adjusting window treatments, or moving a few small decorative items. Heavy furniture, fragile belongings, and difficult-to-move items should be handled before the appointment.
Editing and Additional Services
Do you personally edit the photographs?
Yes. I personally edit every delivered photograph and do not outsource the editing process. My goal is to create bright, polished, inviting images while keeping the property looking natural and true to its actual condition.
Can boxes or unwanted items be removed digitally?
In some situations, boxes, containers, or small movable items may be removed digitally. This is only possible when the item does not conceal damage, a material defect, or a fixed feature such as an outlet, vent, switch, radiator, or fixture. If the camera cannot see what is behind an object, editing may require guessing and may not be appropriate.
Do you offer virtual staging?
Yes. Virtual staging is available for vacant or lightly furnished rooms and can help buyers better understand the scale and potential use of a space. I am happy to discuss which rooms would benefit most.
Do you offer virtual twilight images?
Yes. Daytime exterior photographs can be transformed into polished early-evening images with a natural-looking sky and warm interior lighting. These can be especially effective as featured listing images.
Do you offer drone photography or video?
Drone photography and video are not currently available. I am preparing for FAA Part 107 certification and plan to add aerial services in the future. In the meantime, I would be happy to assist with professional still photography and other available services.
Delivery and Communication
When will the photographs be delivered?
I prioritize prompt delivery and will confirm the expected turnaround based on the property and services requested. Every image is personally reviewed and edited before it is delivered.
How should I contact you?
Please use the form on the Contact page or message the Right Angles Photography Facebook page. If you would prefer a phone call, include your telephone number in the message and I will reach out to you directly.
How quickly will you respond?
Messages are answered within 24 hours and usually much sooner, often within an hour.
